The operational structure of SASQ comprises of a Council based in Gauteng and a number of provincial branches and forums.

To date, there are branches in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.

There are negotiations underway to form branches in Witbank, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, Richards Bay and Port Shepstone.

There are also representatives in Kenya, Dubai, Swaziland and Malawi who are trying to set up SASQ branches.

It must be noted at this stage, that SASQ, like other societies operates with officials who work without any remuneration from SASQ and take on their roles on a voluntary capacity. The organisation can be considered as a virtual one.

The offerings from each branch are specific to the needs of their members.

Some of the activities include monthly presentations by recognised speakers, industry visits, film shows and conferences.

Whatever the offering, at the end of the day it must benefit our membership. The council are encouraging the frequency and variety of branch activities.
